A surprise signing announcement was made today marking the arrival of Raphael Messi Bouli, a Cameroonian international. Raphael Messi is primarily a striker who has also played as a left winger.
Raphael started his career with Cameroon clubs FAP Yaoundé and Canon Yaoundé. He later moved to APEJES Academy Mfou where he won the league cup. In his second season within them, Raphael scored 14 goals in 24 matches.
He later left Cameroon to play for Chinese club Yanbian Founde and Iranian club Foulad Khuzestan. He also has six international appearances for Cameroon and a goal in the 2018 African Nations Qualifiers to his name after making his debut in 2013.
Let’s hope Raphael pairs up with Ogbeche to solve blasters’ problems in the final third. If he can become the team’s Messiah, there’s nothing like it for the fans to celebrate.
